Amanda Ruth Morris

Amanda Ruth Morris, a lifelong Baker County resident, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the age of 51. She was born in Jacksonville, the only daughter of the late Tom and Bobbie Ruth (Maddox) Adams. Ms. Morris was a homemaker who was devoted to her children and her family. She was a caregiver to her parents in their older years and was a dependable friend who was loved by so many. She is survived by her children: Thomas R. Morris and Diane R. Morris, both of Glen St. Mary; and her big brothers: Phillip Adams, William Adams and Walter Adams, all of Glen St. Mary. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers: Dewey Adams and Robert Adams. Celebration of Life services will be announced when finalized. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home of Macclenny.
