Annette Padgett Thomas

Annette Padgett Thomas, 80 of St. George, passed from this life with her family by her side on Thursday, April 9, 2026. A Maxville native, Annette was born on February 24, 1946 to Melvin and Ruby Padgett.

She worked for several years as a nursery worker, but her calling in life was being a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to spend time fishing and working in the yard when she was able. Annette also enjoyed grilling out with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Marlene Godwin, Willard Padgett, and WJ Padgett; husband, Wesley Thomas; daughter, Letha Jarvis; granddaughter, Deanna Loonsfoot; and great grandson, Matthew Mette.

She leaves behind her grandchildren, Crystal Jarvis, Allen Jarvis, and Haley Davis; great grandchildren, Timothy Mette, Joshua Mette, Letha Jarvis, Kaitlyn Starling, and Hunter Starling; son-in-law, Jack Jarvis; stepchildren, Marlo Skott, Wes Thomas, Jr., Stan Thomas, and Gerald Thomas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
