Arthur Covington

Mr. Arthur Joe Covington, age 72 of Sanderson, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2015. Mr. Covington was a retired construction worker who enjoyed watching westerns and wrestling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of forty three years: Donna Carol Covington; son: Arthur J. "Buddy" Covington of Live Oak; daughters: Jeannie Dalton of Buna, TX, Shirley Joe Hicks of Bryceville and Mary Carol Covington of Sanderson; eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and best friend: Bernard Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie and Manerver Buckhalter Covington and daughter: Sheila O'bier. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
