Benjamin Franklin Rosier, 87 of Baldwin, passed from life and rejoined his beloved wife on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, surrounded by family. Benjamin was the son of John and Opal Mae (Watson) Rosier, born on June 30, 1939. He worked for many years as a truck driver, including time with Pritchett Trucking, until his retirement at the young age of 80.
Mr. Rosier enjoyed taking his kids and grandkids fishing when they were younger. He meticulously tended to his yard and looked forward to waiting on the mail man every day.
He will be remembered fondly by his children, Donald (Lenor) Rosier and Jr. (Kim) Rosier both of Baldwin, Benny Rosier and Barry Rosier both of Jacksonville, Dodie Alford of Sanderson, Paige Jordan of North Carolina, and Buffy Lauramore of Taylor; nineteen grandchildren; thirty one great grandchildren; as well as siblings, John Rosier, Darrell Rosier, and Karen Rosier.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marilyn Smith and Evelina Rosier; granddaughter, Brianna Lauramore; and his wife, Mary Alice Rosier.
Hawke M.T. Forbes and the staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home are honored to assist the Rosier family with the arrangements.
