Charles Arnold Evers, Jr.

Charles Arnold “Chuck” Evers, Jr. of Jacksonville, passed from this life on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Baptist Downtown Medical Center. Chuck was born to Charles Sr. and Janice (Hickox) Evers on September 18, 1960 in Jacksonville. He worked as a manager for Adkins Electric. Chuck enjoyed fishing and grilling in his spare time, and was also a talented woodworker and painter.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, John Evers.

He is survived by his son, Austin Evers of Jacksonville; grandson, Jaxon Evers, mother, Janice (Jack) Rhoden of Macclenny; siblings, Debra Barnes and Amy Rhoden both of Macclenny, Mike (Cindy) Evers and Jeff Evers both of Jacksonville, John (Rosanna) Rhoden of Pensacola, and Tammy (Jimmy) Todd of Orange Parks; a great host of nieces and nephews also survive.
