Deborah Ann Sparkman

Deborah Ann Sparkman, 71 of Glen St. Mary, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Ascension St. Vincent’s Hospital. She was born in Jacksonville on January 13, 1955 to Dorsey and Joyce (Davis) Bennett. “Debbie”, as she was affectionately known, worked as the Winn Dixie bakery manager for several years, more recently as a daycare teacher, and sold Avon for many years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and had an entrepreneurial spirit. The role she was most proud of was being a doting wife and loving mother.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Daniel “Danny” Sparkman, Sr.; children, Daniel (Ashley) Sparkman, Jr., Bobby (Denise) Sparkman, Timothy (Crystal) Sparkman, Clinton (Beth) Sparkman, Sadie Sparkman, Garrett (Kayla) Sparkman, and Madalyn Sparkman; grandchildren, Savannah Gonzalez, James Thomason, Laura Sparkman, Trent Sparkman, Gavin Sparkman, Brian Sparkman, Kirsten Sparkman, Kristen Sparkman, Jess Sparkman, Liam Malloy, Winston Sparkman, Haley Sparkman, Izabella Sparkman, and Kinsley Sparkman; great grandchildren; Eli, Saphira, Sianna, Ivar, and Erik; siblings; Scott (Delores) Bennett, Drew (Linda) Bennett, Stanley (Red) Bennett, Mark Bennett, and Roger (Lori) Bennett; as well as extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mike Bennett.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Combs officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the dedicated care and direction of the funeral directors and staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny.
