Dennis Patrick Hall, 77, of Macclenny, Florida, passed away on May 22, 2026, at St. Vincent Community Hospice with his family by his side. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on April 27, 1949, to William T. Hall and Rosemary C. Hall.
Dennis was a resident of Baker County since 1964. He graduated from Baker County High School and was a member of the school's 1966 State High School Basketball Championship Team.
In 1969, Dennis was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served his country in Germany for two years before continuing his military service as a full-time Army Reservist with the 146th Signal Battalion of the Florida Army National Guard. His dedication and patriotism to the United States was evident throughout his life.
Dennis was an avid supporter of the Florida Gators. He found great joy in hunting, fishing and especially spending time at his place on the St.Johns River in Welaka, where many treasured memories were made with family and friends. Above all, Dennis loved his family deeply and enjoyed every opportunity to be surrounded by those he loved most.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Kay Harvey Hall, the mother of his children.
Dennis is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Deborah Green Hall of Macclenny; his children: Denise Hall Combs (Jason) of Macclenny, Jami Kay Prevatt Spruance (Kienan) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Chan Prevatt (Debbie) of Olustee, Beau Lamb (Tracy) of Macclenny and Deborah Lamb Ballard (Jode) of Tampa. Grandchildren: K.C. Prevatt (Manda), Chloe Lamb, Molly Lamb (Jason), Darien Combs (Dylan), Alyssa Kay Combs, Miles Ballard, Daniel Ballard and Henry Spruance; and great grandchild: Wesley Combs.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Guerry Forbes Funeral Home. Funeral services will held Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church with Pastors Michael Green and Elmer Crews officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
