Donna Shayne Prevatt

Donna Shayne Prevatt, 71 of Macclenny, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 with her family by her side. She was born in Brooksville on November 16, 1954 to John and Mildred (Glass) Scoggins. She would work as an inventory specialist for Florida Distillery for many years.

Ms. Prevatt enjoyed spending her free time with her family. She enjoyed a good home cooked barbecue meal and going to yard sales. She also enjoyed attending church when her health allowed her to do so.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves behind her children, Robbie Scoggins and Nikki Ellis both of Macclenny, Jacqueline (Mark) Stoddard of Glen St. Mary, and Kimberly Ann Carney of Lake Alfred; grandchildren, Jami, Shaylia, Reece, Bailey, Jacob, Casey, Johnny, Little Wayne, and Ricky; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Jeff Duval, Sammy Scoggins, and Tammy Finney; as well as extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
