Dorothy Flynn Webb

Georgia Dorothy Flynn Webb, 101 years young, passed from this life and into eternal rest of Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at W. Frank Wells Nursing Home. Dorothy was born on December 14, 1924 in Madison, Florida to Daniel Birdoux Flynn and Lula Rodgers Flynn. She married Mr. Connor Wilson Webb on October 23, 1941 and together they built a beautiful life. They had two sons, Connor, Jr. and Joseph. From the 1950’s until the 1980’s, they owned and operated Baker County Farm Supply. Upon retirement, Dorothy lovingly took care of Mr. Connor until his passing in 1987. She then went back to work at Paul’s Rexall Drugs, as well as the Winn Dixie pharmacy.

Away from work, Ms. Dorothy devoted much of her time to her church, First Baptist Church of Macclenny. For many years she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She filled her spare time during the week with Sunday school lesson planning and visits to children and mothers of the church. She was a faithful servant to her church until her health declined. Above all else, Dorothy was a doting mother and a loving grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She will be remembered for her caring and loving nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, D.B. Flynn, J.L. Flynn, Bernice Goodbread, and Eunice Payne, as well as two infant sisters; and her loving husband of forty six years, Mr. Connor Wilson Webb, Sr.

She is survived by her two sons, Connor W. Webb, Jr. and Joseph D. (Judy) Webb; grandsons, Chris, Craig, Jeffrey (Debbie), Jamie (Melissa), Justin (Liza), and Jason (Candace); thirteen grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family members.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Macclenny with Pastor John Shultz officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care and directions of the funeral directors and staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny.
