Harvey Harris

Mr. Harvey P. "Ted" Harris, age 91 of Macclenny, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Mr. Harris served twenty-two years in the U.S. Navy and was a retired barber who enjoyed travelling and playing golf. He loved studying and teaching the bible and attending church at Christian Fellowship Temple, where he was a member. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his son: Harvey (Angela) Harris of Jonesborough, TN; daughter: Arlinda (Ray) Fish of New Hampshire; step-son: Dennis (Joan)Thompson of Jacksonville; sister: Deloris "Tinker" Hunter of Orlando; a beloved nephew: Glen Roberts of Macclenny; three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous other family members. Funeral services will be held graveside 3:00pm, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Brandy Branch Cemetery, Bryceville with Pastor David Thomas officiating.
