James Terry

Mr. James M. Terry, age 88 of Lake City, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015. Mr. Terry was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He served his fellow veterans as a nursing assistant at the Lake City VA Medical Center until his retirement. He was an avid reader and had a passion for gardening and genealogy. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years: Frances Terry; son: Bradley Terry of Macclenny; daughter: Elizabeth (Tommy) Holland of Lake City; grandchildren: Frances Driggers and James Holland, both of Lake City, and Jessica Holland (Richard Thornton) of Callahan; nephews: William Bennett of Virginia and Arthur Terry of Georgia; nieces: Glenda Crawley of Macclenny and Roma Kay Berry of Jacksonville; great niece: Kim Waters; special friends: Helen and Chet Leary of Lake City; and numerous great grandchildren.
