John Merrett

Mr. John W. Merrett, age 67 of St. George, GA passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013. Mr. Merrett was a retired truck driver who loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Holly Merrett; mother: Edith Merrett; sons: Dwayne Merrett, Chuck (Tina) Merrett all of St. George, and Leroy (Brandy) Sweat of Glen St. Mary; brother: Jimmy Merrett of Tennessee. Eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Forbes Funeral Home with Reverend Kenny Marr officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of FORBES FUNERAL HOME 904-259-4600.
