Joseph Cecil Pedigo

Joseph Cecil Pedigo, a beloved husband and father, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026 under the care of Community Hospice, age 81. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky to Joseph Henry and Sara Pedigo on March 27, 1945. Joseph worked for many years as a pipefitter for many than fifty years and was well respected and loved by his coworkers.

Joseph’s free time was filled with rides on his motorcycle, fishing and listening to music. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan. He also looked forward to trips to the Florida Keys.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Judy Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty three years, Joan Pedigo of Middleburg; children, Joseph L. Pedigo (Russell) of Live Oak, Meagan (Michael ) Paige of Sanderson; Melonie Newman of Massachusetts, and Donna Pedigo (Stewart Freidus) of Jesup, Georgia; grandchildren, Londynn, Ciara, Austin, Jake, Jessica, and Emmanuel; great grandchildren, Morgan and Aiden; and two brothers, Frank Pedigo (Brenda) of St. Petersburg and Michael Pedigo of Jesup, Georgia.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
