Joseph Leslie Rooker

Joseph Leslie Rooker, 47 of Macclenny passed away Friday, August 9, 2019 at his residence.
Joseph was born in Front Royal, Virginia on July 31, 1972 to the late Mr. Ernest and Helen (Hogan) Rooker Sr.
Mr. Rooker had previously been a resident of Gainesville before relocating to Macclenny six years ago.
Joseph was an avid sports fan, supporting the Florida State Seminoles, Oakland Raiders and the Golden State Warriors. He also had a passion for watching westerns on television. He loved pets, his friends and family, especially his daughter Jarkiera and his partner, Terry. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister: Loree Ann Rooker
Joseph leaves behind to cherish memories, his daughter: Jarkiera Smith of Gainesville; partner: Terry Ward of Macclenny; brother: Ernest Rooker Jr. of Culpepper, Virginia; sister: Mae Rooker of Culpepper, Virginia; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
