Laura Lea Miller

Laura Lea Miller, a beloved sister and aunt, passed from this life after an extended illness on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, age 65. Born to Charles E. and Janice (Blackburn) Miller on June 19, 1960, Laura was one of two children. She graduated high school and would work for a number of years at the Northeast Florida State Hospital. She resided in Glen St. Mary.

Laura Lea was a very creative person. She loved arts and crafts. She would share her creations with family and friends around holidays, as she made her own cards for loved ones. She was a skilled painter and also enjoyed arranging flowers. She enjoyed spending time in the comfort of her home and the country life. Laura had a caring and giving heart, as she showed thru her holiday cards and other ways of spreading her love for people. She was also an animal lover and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves behind her brother, Clifford Miller of Jacksonville; nieces, Sarah (Brandon) Miller and Erin (Drew) Sekelesky; great nieces, Trinity and Emery; as well as a host of cousins.

Final memorialization will be by cremation and family services will be held at a later date.
