Marie Bell Wilkinson

Marie Bell Wilkinson, 86 of Macclenny, passed on from this life on Friday, July 24, 2026 surrounded by her family. Marie was the daughter of Morris Bell and Irene Fraser Bell, born on November 23, 1939. Marie attended Jones Business College in Jacksonville and worked for ten years with the Florida Times Union and also as a home health aide. Known affectionately as “Nana” to her grandkids and their friends, Ms. Marie loved to prepare home cooked meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed shopping trips, yard sales, as well as doing arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, George W. Wilkinson; and two children, Christopher Wilkinson and Angela Lauramore.

She is survived by her son, Joel (Kim) Wilkinson of Macclenny; grandchildren, Kristen (Dustin) Mann, Kyle (Sara) Wilkinson, and Brooke (Kyle Mosely) Wilkinson; great grandkids, Major, Raylen, Henley, Rhett, and Ripley; and a brother, Wilbur (Donna) Bell of Maxville.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Manning Cemetery at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the cemetery beginning at 10:00 AM.
