Marion Judith Mann

Marion Judith Mann, 81 of Macclenny, passed from this life on Friday, October 2, 2026. Marion was the daughter of Albert and Mary (Munch) Cowles, born on June 17, 1945 in Jacksonville. She grew up in the beaches area and graduated from Duncan U. Fletcher High School. She worked for many years for the State of Florida.

Most important in Marion’s life was family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a longtime member of the Woman’s Club of Macclenny. She treasured her time spent with friends there, especially trips to the Alhambra Dinner Theatre. She enjoyed tending to her plants and spending evenings on her porch swing. She also enjoyed traveling when she was able.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jesse Allen Mann.

She is survived by her children, Christopher (Rhonda) Johnson of Callahan, Mary Ann (John) Watson of Green Cove, and Mike Johnson of Tennessee; grandchildren, Leighton, Lyndsey, Tim, Josh, and Amanda; fourteen great grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Pat) Cowles of California and Beth Harrell of Fernandina; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 9, 2026 at 9:30 AM at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Rev. Joel Griffis officiating.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the funeral directors and staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny.
