Mrs. Marjorie Ann Dunn, of Dothan, Alabama and originally of Baker County, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at the age of 84. Born in Taylor, Florida to the late Ray and Athena Raulerson Brown, Mrs. Dunn was a longtime educator. In her thirty years of teaching in Henry County, Alabama, she instructed science students at Headland High School as well as at the Adult Education Center. With an appreciation for the arts, Mrs. Dunn enjoyed attending plays, going to movies, and was an avid reader. She also very much enjoyed traveling and gardening. Mrs. Dunn is survived by her husband: Howard “Ray” Dunn of Dothan; sons: Howard Scott (Mary) Dunn of Statesboro, Georgia and Robert Andrew (Rhiannon) Dunn of Petal, Mississippi; grandchildren: John Porter Dunn, Sierra Hollowell and Cheyenne Hollowell; brother: George Marvin (Penny) Brown of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and sister: Athena Gail Brown of Glen St. Mary, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Ray Elgene Brown and Marcus Eldyn Brown, and sisters: Nettie Ruth Brown, Faye Claudine Rhoden, and Betty Jaudon Madden. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, June 13, 2026 in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, 420 E. Macclenny Avenue, Macclenny, Florida with Reverend George Leslie Dugger officiating. Interment will follow the service at North Prong Cemetery in Sanderson. Mrs. Dunn’s family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Friday, June 12, 2026 at the funeral home.
