Mary Alice Rosier

Mrs. Mary Alice (Crowder) Rosier, 79 of Baldwin passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at her home with her family at her side.
Mary was born to the late Mr. Arnold Maywood and Hellen (Peters) Crowder on December 13, 1939 in Charleston, West Virginia.
Ms. Rosier spent many years as a baker and cake decorator for several grocery stores, last working for the IGA Market in Baldwin up until it's closing.
In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and loved sewing and crocheting. She could often be found in her yard, gardening and tending to the flowers, always making sure the grass was well kept. She loved being around her family and friends, as they were most important to her. She had a dear pet pig as well, Daisy Mae.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister: Beverly Guthrie; and her granddaughter: Brianna Lauramore.
She leaves behind to cherish the memories, her loving husband of 54 years: Mr. Benjamin F. Rosier of Baldwin; sons: JR (Kim) Mattox of Baldwin, Donnie (Lenor) Rosier of Baldwin, Benny Rosier of Jacksonville, and Barry (Wanda) Rosier of Jacksonville; daughters: Paige Jordan of Middleburg, Dodie (David) Alford of Sanderson, and Buffy (Ray) Lauramore of Macclenny; 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brothers: Maywood Crowder of Baldwin, Tommy Daniel (Jane) Crowder of New Mexico, Ed (Anna) Crowder of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Jeff (Robin) Crowder of Louisiana; sisters: Diane (Bobby) Campo of Louisiana, Kathy Hall of Clay Hill, and Betty Flouler of West Virginia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
The family will be holding a celebration of Mrs. Mary's life on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Baldwin Senior Center, 850 Center Street North, Jacksonville, Florida, 32234. There will be dinner following the conclusion and the family asks those who attend to bring a dish if able.
