Richard F. Bennett

Mr. Richard Bennett, age 57 of Glen St. Mary, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016. A native of New Jersey, Mr. Bennett had been a Baker County resident since 1991. He was a welder by trade and had been employed by Allstate Steel and Canam Steel Corporation in Jacksonville and Whitley Steel in Maxville. He had a great sense of humor and was "the life of the party". He loved music, telling jokes, and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his wife: Darcy Bennett of Glen St. Mary; daughters: Tricia Bennett of Glen St. Mary and Sara Lynn Bennett of Orlando; brothers: Norman Bennett and Raymond Bennett both of New Jersey; sister Ruthann Vanzile of New Jersey; and one grandchild.
