Robert Earl Brown, known best as “Bob”, age 84 of St. George, passed away with his family by his side on Monday, May 12, 2026. A native of Fort Gaines, Georgia, Bob was born on July 7, 1941, the son of Charlie Toms and Sarah Mildred (Naramore) Brown Toms. He would proudly serve his country in the United States Army.

He enjoyed collecting guns and bows he used for hunting. He also had a love for motorcycles and hot rods. His later years were filled with love he shared with his grandkids, great grandkids, and great great grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Candy Brown of St. George; children, Sonya (Jean) Caton of Louisiana, Scott (Tonya Lee) Brown and Lora (Robert) Peterson both of Jacksonville, and Char-Marie (Jody) Jewell of Baxter; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Kathy (Eric) Brown of Athens, Georgia, Ann (Greg) Smith of Sandy Springs, Georgia, and Robin (Paul) Toms-Richards of Lake Lanier, Georigia; as well as his faithful companion who never left his side, his dog Penelope.
