Robert Basiel Hamilton

Robert Basiel Hamilton, 76 of Old Town passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025 at his residence. Robert was born in Ft. Myers on August 17, 1948 to Henry and Dora (Joiner) Hamilton. Robert spent most of his life in Florida, but spent time in Bentonville, Arkansas, working for the county, as well as for Crowder Construction. His favorite past time and job however, was working as a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed camping and hunting as well.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Prichard Hart.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hamilton of Old Town; children, Christopher Hart, Wesley Hamilton, Delcena Thomsen, and Jasmine Hamilton all of Old Town; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
