Roger Harvey

Mr. Roger Harvey, age 65, of Glen St. Mary, FL passed away Wednesday, June 4th at HCA North Florida Hospital, Gainesville, FL following an extended illness.

Mr. Harvey was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late James and Therese Harvey and has resided in Baker County for all of his life. He worked as a maintenance mechanic for the Baker County School Board for many years and enjoyed hunting. Mr. Harvey loved spending time with his mud bogging family, his grandchildren, and visiting with his friends. He was known for being playful and liked to give people a hard time.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Harvey: his sons, Clinton (Lynzi) Harvey, Benjamin Harvey both of Glen St. Mary, FL: stepson, RJ (Grace) Morris of Callahan, FL: brother, Stephen Harvey and grandchildren, Launa Parker, Adalyn Watkins, Robert Hartzog, Cash Harvey, Raegan Benton, Whitlee Harvey, Preslee Harvey, and Layla Harvey.

A graveside funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Harvey will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, June 10th at Riverside Memorial Park with Brother Noel Roberts officiating. A visitation and gathering with the family will be held Monday, June 9th from 5 to 7 PM in the Chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home.
