Rosa Lee Bellville, best known as “Rose”, passed from this life and into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at W. Frank Wells Nursing Home, age 89. She was born in Baker County on May 3, 1947 to Lonnie Starling and Myrtle Harvey. Ms. Rose would work for many years as a dietician at Ed Fraser Hospital.

Rose looked forward to shopping trips with her family. She loved a good word search and watching the game show network. When she was able, she enjoyed fishing trips. She was most content when she was surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her father Lonnie Starling; mother and stepfather, Myrtle and Son Alford; eight siblings; her husband, Mr. Arthur Belleville; and two sons, Dale Young and Mark Young.

She is survived by her children, Ricky (Barbara) Belleville, Lori (Doug) Jones, and Rob (Hope) Starling; eleven grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; and two sisters, Patty (Mike) Combs and Debbie (Paul) McAllister; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 9, 2026 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the funeral directors and staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny.
