Ruth M. Gregg

Mrs. Ruth M. Gregg, age 65 of Sanderson, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was a resident of Baker County for the last 25 years, previously living in North Carolina. Mrs. Gregg was born in Lake Seneca, New York to the late Byron Gregg and Mary Campbell.
She was a member of Taylor Church and was studying to become a minister. She was a nurse for thirty years and worked for Northeast Florida State Hospital, as well as hospice. Mrs. Ruth loved animals dearly and was an avid supporter of the Baker County Animal Shelter. She will be remembered for her caring and generous nature and will be missed by many. Mrs. Ruth lived by the scripture "Love thy neighbor as thy self".
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years: Ronald Hines; her sons: Ryan (Cortney) Hebblethwaite of Middleburg, Brian Rothfeldt of Macclenny, and Tracey Hines of Georgia; daughters: Darcy Stell of Gainesville and Sylvia Hines of Georgia; many grandchildren; sister-in-law: Martha (Henry) Harris of Glen St. Mary; as well as all of her pets that she cherished. She was preceded in death by her parents.
