Sammy Crum

Mr. Sammy Eugene Crum, age 64 of Sopchoppy, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014. Mr. Crum was a retired mower operator for Asplundh Tree Company and a US Army veteran. A lifelong Wakulla County resident, Mr. Crum loved fishing, crabbing, oystering, and spent a lot of time on the water. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Crum of Sopchoppy; sons: Robert (Victoria) Crum and Cory (Virginia) Crum all of Crawfordville; daughter: Gloria (Eddie) Hartsfield of Crawfordville; mother: Bertha Crum of Sopchoppy; brothers: Robert (Juanetta) Walker of Sopchoppy, Mitchell Crum of Gulf Breeze, FL, James (Betty) Crum of Tallahassee, and Richard Noel (Luan) Crum of Sopchoppy; sister: Gloria (Raymond) Metcalf of Sopchoppy; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father: Alexander "Buddy" Crum. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Crum Cemetery, Sopchoppy, Florida with Reverend B. B. Barwick officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of Mrs. Crum: 14 Robbers Roost Road, Sopchoppy on Monday, December 8, 2014.
