Shannon Ruth Goeden

Shannon Ruth Goeden, a native and longtime resident of Spokane, Washington, passed away at her home in Glen St. Mary on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, age 71. Shannon was born on December 12, 1954 to Mr. George and Helen (Flynn) Brower.

Shannon loved a good sunrise and sunset. She enjoyed them for many years on the coast of Washington and enjoyed them for the last year at her home in Glen St. Mary. She looked forward to “glamping” trips with her family over the years. Her last years, she found joys in arts and crafts, especially scrapbooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of forty years, Greg Goeden of Glen St. Mary; son, Steve (Rachel) Whitehill of Glen St. Mary; grandkids who she adored, C’Ne, Isaiah, Kai, Koa, and Jax; great grandchildren, Everett, Everley, and one on the way; as well as numerous half siblings.

A celebration of Shannon’s life will be held at a later date.
