Steven David Corbitt

Steven David Corbitt, 67 of Glen St. Mary, passed away on May 30, 2026 at the Haven Hospice-Custead Care Center. The son of Harold and Gloria (Starling) Corbitt, Steve was born on January 19, 1959. He would work for thirty years as an estimator.

Steve was an avid outdoorsman, loving his time spent in the woods and on the water. He spent the last handful of years working on the home place, ensuring his children would have some place to enjoy for years to come. He loved spending time with his family and spoiling his grandkids. You knew where you stood with Steve, as he was always willing to speak his mind.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He leaves behind his children, Ashley (Jeremy) Jenkins, Trevor (Halie) Corbitt, Cody Corbitt, and Josh (Savannah) Corbitt all of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren, Abigail Craig, Kelsey (Pacey) Holtom, Macey Jenkins, Lacy Corbitt, Bentley Corbitt, and Kaden Corbitt; mother, Gloria Sluder of Green Cove Springs; siblings, Timothy Corbitt of Keystone and Vicki (Tim) Worth of Bostwick; as well as extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Macedonia Cemetery with Rev. David Beecher officiating.
