Sylvia Ann Webster

Ms. Sylvia Ann Webster, age 90, of Macclenny, FL passed away Tuesday, May 13th at Frank Wells Nursing Home, Macclenny, FL following an extended illness. Ms. Webster was born in South Carolina to the late Hunter and Mary Butler Mathews. She lived in Tennessee before moving to Baker County over 20 years ago. Ms. Webster was a member of the First Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking and canning. She loved spending time in the hills of Tennessee. More than anything she cherished spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Webster is survived by her daughters, Barbara Fish (Hugh) of Macclenny, FL and Karen Elizabeth Smith (Ron) of TN; two sons, Joey Newmans (Tim Bigham) and Paul Scott Webster both of TN; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Harvey of Macclenny, FL and Claudia Diane Franzino (Justin) of OR. Four grandchildren, Andria Ivey, Jonathan Fish, Sean Webster and Brandi Kilmon, along with 13 great-grandchildren also survive.

A funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Webster will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, May 18th in the Chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Griffis officiating. A private family visitation will be held prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow the funeral service at Taylor Cemetery.
