Thomas Raymer Brown, Jr.

Thomas Raymer Brown, Jr., age 57 of Sanderson, passed from this life on Thursday, November 5, 2026. Tom was born on December 16, 1968 in Jacksonville, the only child of Thomas and Marilyn (Smith) Brown, Sr. Tom worked for several years in lift station maintenance and installations, most recently for the Town of Baldwin.

In his younger years, Tom enjoyed competitive softball. He liked to spend time hunting and fishing, taking in the beauty of the outdoors. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn (William) Allen of Sanderson; daughter, Rebecca Renee Thackrey of Middleburg; a granddaughter, Bailey Renee; and wife, Lesa Jones of Macclenny.

A Gathering of Friends will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2026 in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the funeral directors and staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny.
