Wendy Olivia Dennard

Wendy Olivia Dennard, a loving wife and mother, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital, age 46. She was born in Jacksonville on October 28, 1979 to Mr. Herbert and Merry Strickland Thomas. Wendy was a doting mother and dedicated wife. She had a bubbly personality and was always willing to go out of her way to could lift the spirit of others. She loved to decorate and plan get-togethers and parties. She was known to be quite the entertainer. She also enjoyed crafts.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Joseph “Joe” Dennard; three children, Joey, Jr., Marianna, and Grayson; sisters, Sherri (Ben) Stone of Callahan and Mary Haga of Jacksonville; nieces and nephews, Ben, Matthew, Hailey, Chloe, Taylor, Nathan, and Kattie; as well as extended family members.

A Celebration of Wendy’s life will be held in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 7:00 PM. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM until the hour of service.

The staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home is honored to serve the Dennard family during their time of loss.
