Mrs. Willie Mae Green, a sixty year Baker County resident, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the age of 78. She was born in Bonifay, Florida to the late Willie Joe and Mary Maggie Payne Burnham. Mrs. Green was employed by Glen St. Mary Nursery for twenty two years then by the Baker County School Board for several years. She was a member of Road To Calvary Church and loved spending time in God’s Word. While Mrs. Green enjoyed crafting and arranging flowers, her utmost joy was her family. She is survived by her husband of forty three years: T.C. Green Jr. of Macclenny; son: Michael (Melissa) Harris of Macclenny; daughters: Melissa Ann Harris of Macclenny and Jennifer Green of Lakeland, Florida; grandchildren: Jamie, Angelica, Michael Ann, Starla, and Destiny; thirteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; brother: Johnny (Julie) Burnham of Macclenny; and sister: Linda (Buddy) Barton of St. George, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Steve Harris; brother: Rufus Burnham; and sisters: Francis Burnham and Elizabeth Burnham. Funeral services to honor her life will be held 12:00pm, Monday, March 23, 2026 in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, 420 E. Macclenny Avenue, Macclenny, Florida with Reverend Wendy Florio officiating. Interment will follow the service at Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny. The family will receive friends at 11:00am, the morning of the service, at the funeral home. Hawke M. T. Forbes, William L. Guerry and the staff of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home are honored to serve the Green family.
